Day 12
Wednesday, November 8 2006
Departed Charleston at 7:45 am nice 85.8 mile run. We arrived at night into Hilton Head SC. We stayed at a really nice marina called Harbor Town Yacht Basin on mile marker 564. the place was closed when we arrived but we had called earlier and got a spot on the fuel dock. We entered the marina through the entrance markers and found the dock. During the day, the marina shoulden’t be to hard to find because it has a red and white striped light house. Once inside, Waiting for us at the fuel dock was a welcome package with a nice letter, a 50amp splitter they let us borrow and a bottle of wine! We showered and did the laundry. Dinner was grilled lamb chops for me and grilled pork chops and bratwurst sausages for Yaisy and the boys. Later, I did the engine checks. Fuel will have to wait until morning.
